I think I've finally recoved from the jet lag.

The last few weeks have been super busy. I've started training for a triathlon, Matt and I resurrected our sad front yard, and we traveled through England and France for ten days. (thanks to a grant I received from grad school.)

Our trip was awesome despite our hurried pace and cracking the windshield of our rental car. (Warning: If your GPS navigator keeps falling off the windshield, it's best to place it somewhere else instead of using all your strength to try to adhere it the windshield.)

We visited some lovely places and stayed with loveliest people in Northamptonshire, England -- Matt's Aunt Ann's family.

We also spent some time in London where we ate some insanely good Indian food and caught Avenue Q in London's West End.

We caught an overnight ferry (think cruise ship) to Normandy and spent a few days exploring the D-Day invasion sites and museums.

We ended our trip in Paris where we walked for an eternity and napped under the Eiffel Tower after snacking on a Nutella crepe. Yummy!
