What am I going to do with all this kale?


After finishing Michael Pollan's In Defense of Food, I dedcided to finally join a CSA. Lucky for me, Green Gate Farms is close to my house and work so it's an easy detour to pick up farm fresh vegetables every week. I was worried that I would have too many veggies and some would go to waste, but so far, we've been using most of them. It's a real challenge coming up with menus for the week, but I've enjoyed trying new dishes and vegetables. I hope to document some of my culinary adventures as the season progresses.


For those of you that live in Austin, Green Gate farms still has winter shares available. I highly recommend it!
