Creative Block

So, I've been working on my ornaments for the upcoming swap for the last couple of days and I just can't get it right! I'm using paper and sewing to create a 3D paper ornament. It's not coming out well and I don't know where to go from here. Blah! I really wanted to get these going. Any suggestions?
